Our car park is in a very convenient location, right near the historic centre of San Candido. You can walk to the centre in just 2 minutes, to the Monte Baranci ski lifts or the bus station in 5 minutes, and to the train station in 10 minutes.
It’s super convenient for shopping in San Candido, for a family excursion to Monte Baranci, or for a visit to the Dolomythos Museum – the largest of its kind in the Dolomites.

How to get to our car park
Arrival by car
Coming from Cortina/Dobbiaco, or from the A22 motorway (Bressanone exit)
Turn right off the E66 Val Pusteria road as for Sesto/Passo Monte Croce, and drive over the level crossing.
Follow the SS 52 Carnica for 1 kilometre.
At the junction with the Sesto road, carry straight on along Via Waidacher (be careful not to drive on towards Sesto!).
Continue for 180 metres to the bridge.
Cross the bridge and turn left onto Via dei Tintori.
Our outdoor and underground car park is 110 metres further along on the left.
Collect a ticket to get into the car park.
Coming from Sesto/Passo Monte Croce
Follow Via Sesto towards Dobbiaco, then continue on Via Matthias Schranzhofer past the Monte Baranci ski lifts.
Turn right onto Via Waidacher when you get to the junction.
Continue for 180 metres to the bridge.
Cross the bridge and turn left onto Via dei Tintori.
Our outdoor and underground car park is 110 metres further along on the left.
Collect a ticket to get into the car park.
Coming from Austria
Turn left off the main Val Pusteria road towards the centre of San Candido, and drive over the level crossing.
Keep right and continue for 130 metres to the Via Mantinger intersection, where you turn right onto Via Peter-Paul-Rainer.
Continue for 210 metres.
Go past the police station and keep left.
Continue along Via Matthias Schranzhofer for 230 metres until you reach the junction with the Sesto road.
Turn left onto Via Waidacher
(be careful not to carry on towards Sesto!).
Continue for 180 metres to the bridge.
Cross the bridge and turn left onto Via dei Tintori.

Collect a ticket to get into the car park.
Pedestrian access
The car park can be accessed from Via dei Tintori 3 or from Via Peter-Paul-Rainer 9 in the pedestrian zone.
The Wachtler Story
The Wachtlers have always been great adventurers. They were among the first to climb the Dolomites and when they first saw skis being used in Nordic countries, they were very enthusiastic about this new way of travelling.
